Digital transformation of a big city as an object of sociological analysis

The article presents a sociological analysis of the digital transformation phenomenon (the case Minsk). chronology stages formation scientific discourse about this (automation, digitisation, digitalisation and transformation) is described. Specific indicators dimension city based on empirical data are proposed ratio traditional methods solving applied problems, exit technologies beyond their utilitarian use, motivation for development new technologies). Using obtained indicators, typology types citizens constructed.
